National Standards
The Saginaw Community Foundation has met the most rigorous standards in philanthropy and has been confirmed in compliance with National Standards through 2016. The National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations Program, established in 2000, requires community foundations to document their policies for donor services, investments, grantmaking and administration.
For the Saginaw Community Foundation, this recognition demonstrates our financial transparency, security and responsibility; validates our grantmaking practices; builds our capacity to achieve our mission; and helps guide sound policies and accountability.
