The John and Florence Goll Scholarship was established in 1955 as a perpetual fund to be administered by First Congregational Church. Frances Goll Mills established the scholarship to honor her parents, John and Florence Goll, members of First Congregational Church. Qualifications to be considered for the Goll Scholarship include the financial need of the student, his or her ability, scholastic record, character and integrity, past achievement and promise of future achievement. Emphasis is placed on first post-secondary school year needs, but is not limited to the first year. Members or those with a connection to First Congregational will be considered for the John and Florence Goll Scholarship.

● Resident of Great Lakes Bay Region
● Priority given to full-time students
● Member of or demonstrated connection to First Congregational Church in
Saginaw
● Pursuing an undergraduate degree or Career and Techincal Education (CTE) training (skilled trade/vocation)
● Demonstrated financial need
